How can the South Australia Food and Beverage Export Hub help your business?

The Export Hub offers South Australian food and beverage businesses a supported approach to developing your business for the export market. The Export Hub is focused on eight key markets: China, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, the United States and Vietnam. There are three modules in the Export Hub program, each offering differing levels of support tailored to your needs for your stage of export growth, and each designed to build on each other. Modules of the program can be completed separately or combined to be completed together.

Module 1: Export Ready

This module focuses on giving you the tools to become export ready and provides you with an overview of the eight markets in the program to help you start planning for successful export. The Export Ready module is available until June 2022.

Module 2: FTA Market Advantage

This module is designed for businesses wanting to take advantage of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs). It includes access to FTA information and tools with one-on-one market access guidance*, assistance with selected trade shows, and export plan development. The FTA Market Advantage module is available until June 2020.

*Available for businesses targeting export to China, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea and Vietnam.

Module 3: Export Coaching

Export coaching is the key feature of the third module of the Export Hub program, which builds on the previous modules to give you the opportunity to access tailored assistance in areas such as product development and formulation, regulation, consumer insights and competitor analysis, and identifying suitable sales partners in target markets*. The Export Coaching module includes the opportunity to participate in international trade shows in your target market, either by priority invitation to exhibit with Food South Australia, or inclusion in the Food South Australia Producer Showcase. In-market meetings and tours may also be available in conjunction with these trade shows.

Businesses participating in the Export Coaching module are also eligible to be invited to join the Export Cluster, an invitation-only forum for food and beverage exporting businesses, further enhancing your export capabilities through business to business (B2B) connections and consolidation opportunities. The Export Coaching module is available until June 2022.

*Available for businesses targeting export to China, Japan, Singapore, United Arab Emirates and United States.
