Food South Australia develops and delivers industry training to support your business growth.

Each year Food South Australia delivers a number of training eventsfor our industry based on identified needs. Our goal is to respond to industry priorities, and these events are organised based on member and industry requests. 

Past topics have included intensive workshops focusing on product development for Asian markets, understanding and evaluating opportunities in the luxury market, changes in the electricity market and product recall solutions. Member input and suggestions for topics is always welcome.



Our industry programs offer more intensive assistance to build your skills and help you develop and implement strategies for growth.

In 2020, we have launched our Sustainable Packaging To Reduce Food Waste Program, a two part program focusing on reducing food waste and developing your sustainable packaging strategy. This program is presented by experts in food and beverage packaging and includes two workshops, a tour of a waste management recovery facility, one-on-one consultations with the presenters and a visit to your site to support you to develop your strategy to meet the National Packaging Targets being implemented in 2025.

Food South Australia's Business Growth Program is designed to develop skills in business and finance management, and in understanding and evaluating markets to develop your business growth strategy.

Our South Australia Food and Beverage Export Hub program comprises three modules tailored to accelerate your export growth, grow your skills in export strategy and develop your market knowledge.
