The SA Business Index is InDaily's annual ranking of the state's top 100 companies by market capitalisation and revenue.

South Australian Premier's Food and Beverage Industry Consumer Award Legend Robern Menz has entered the SA Business Index Top 100 for the first time, ranking at 91st place and were highlighted for their "imaginative... high business acumen" and preparedness to expand through both acquisition and organic growth by Scott Dolling, Director atTaylor Collison, who compile the list each year.

Two regulars in the list are our members Haigh's Chocolates (ranked 71st this year) and Clean Seas (ranked 67) despite a very difficult year with hefty impacts on their business as a result of COVID-19. Beston Global has been ranked at 54, up from 69 in 2019, while Zerella Holdings have ranked at 49. This year has seen AlmondCo come into the rankings at 33, San Remo at 26 and Coopers Brewery at 22. Thomas Foods International ranked in the top 20 businesses at 13 this year.

Congratulations to these members on your achievements in a very challenging year.

The Top 100 is in its sixth year this year. To be eligible for inclusion, businesses must be a South Australian entity with an Adelaide ownership register, or be a South Australian operated entity, or be a company founded and majority-owned by South Australians.
